Thanks for visiting Trenline breakout stocks.. This web site is dedicated to finding stocks that are breaking out of current trend patterns into new patterns or continuing old trends with fresh momentum after a consolidation period.

Our philosophy is short term to intermediate term time frames of several days to several months. We may also ,occasionally, profile a stock that appears to have the potential to move higher over a number of months to a year or more This is not a day trading web site although some spectacular gains come in single day price expansions.

We utilize trendlines to help pinpoint timing of market turns for entry and exit. We have found that trendlines in conjunction with several other indicators give us an advantage in gauging when to get in or out of a stock or market.

Volume is a fundamental key to helping understand what other traders/investors are doing with their positions and how that may impact stock price action. Price tells the story Volume indicates whether anyone is listening and if the story behind the move has legs up or down.

Effective chart reading involves interpretation so it involves subjective skill sets and as such can be deemed an art using the science of formulas and numbers as a framework to focus the attention and identify trends. There are any number of indicators to use to help you interperet charts. I prefer to keep it as simple as possible.

In order to be profitable at trading it is essential to be able to follow a trend, to know when it starts and to get off before it ends.

Even though we will never be right 100% of the time we can learn to follow the money for at least part of the ride and limit our losses along the way.
